Flirt train model

The FLIRT (short for Flinker Leichter Innovativer Regional-Triebzug, which stands for “innovative, agile and light railcar for regional traffic”) is a self-propelled train designed and built by the Swiss company Stadler Rail. Variations of the FLIRT are in service in Switzerland, Germany, Italy, Austria, Hungary, Poland, Finland, Norway, and Algeria. The Léman Express fleet is composed of 23 FLIRT train sets from the Swiss manufacturer Stadler. These 40 trains are compatible with the Swiss and French networks allowing travel from Coppet to Evian-Les Bains, Annecy, St-Gervais, and Annemasse, without changing trains.
