Works Genève-Eaux-Vives – Annemasse

From Tuesday, May 2nd to Friday, July 7th:
  • Nature of work:
    Infrastructure work (improvement of signaling and switchgear stations in Annemasse station, and conformity of glass bricks in Chêne-Bourg station).
  • Impact:
    _ Train services will be interrupted between Geneva-Eaux-Vives and Annemasse, in both directions, on Sunday to Monday nights and public holidays (nights of May 17-18, 18-19, and 29-30) between 11:00 pm and 5:00 am, as well as on Monday to Thursday nights between 9:00 pm and 5:00 am.
    _ In addition, the Annemasse-Coppet train departing at 5:05 am and the Coppet-Annemasse train departing at 6:04 am will be canceled from Monday to Friday.
    _ No impact on night services, which are maintained on Friday to Saturday and Saturday to Sunday nights (all lines run according to the original schedule).
  • Alternative and substitution:
    In addition to the tpg offer (tram 17, last departure from Geneva-Eaux-Vives at 00:19, last departure from Annemasse at 00:43), substitute buses will be set up between Geneva-Eaux-Vives and Annemasse, in both directions, as follows:

From Saturday, July 8th to Thursday, November 23rd:
  • Nature of work:
    Infrastructure work (improvement of signalling and switchgear in Annemasse station).
  • Impact:
    _ Train services are interrupted between Chêne-Bourg and Annemasse, in both directions, every night from Sunday to Thursday inclusive, between 11:00 pm and 5:20 am.
    _ In addition, the Annemasse – Coppet train at 05:05 and the Coppet – Annemasse train at 06:04 are cancelled from Monday to Friday inclusive.
    _ No impact on night services which are maintained on Friday to Saturday and Saturday to Sunday nights (all lines run according to the original schedule).
  • Alternative:
    To travel between Geneva-Eaux-Vives and Annemasse, passengers are invited to take tram 17 according to the tpg timetable (last departure from Geneva-Eaux-Vives at 00:19, last departure from Annemasse at 00:43). Allow about 10 minutes’ walk between the tram 17 stop (“Annemasse, Parc Montessuit”) and Annemasse station.
